The book was written clearly and it was wide-ranging. I was convinced by his YouTube videos that there were, indeed, highly advanced societies that had science more advanced than our own who built the many amazing stone constructions found around the world unbuildable by us today. I also believe him when he says a great catastrophe occurred that created changed climatic conditions robust enough to freeze a Mammoth eating buttercups on the Russian steppes in a standing pose, and to wipe off the face of the Earth everything pertaining to those societies not made of solid stone, and even portions of it were melted in place from some certain direction. But, I bought the book to find out more about the cause of the catastrophe itself, and there was little of that inside, no doubt because there was so little known or even guessed at about it specifically. It must have been horrible, however. I did not regret buying the book. It's full to the very brim with good information and many illustrations and photos.

This is an evidence biased book, if you are looking for a spiritual or ritual account of Ancient civilization this book may not be for you. I would definitely opt for the hard or paperback version, in order to see the images the way the author intended. I would recommend this book to anybody who finds the authors YouTube videos intriguing.

I'm flabbergasted by other reviews of people complaining of typos and other mistakes. Though there are typos this book is well written and the author shows very compelling evidence of past advanced civilization's that existed before the last cataclysm. If your looking for a dry academic read then this book is not for you. I will be buying more of the authors books.

Aftershock is a good read. Seems to be well researched. Not a white-knuckler. A little slow in places. But well worth the time and money. Recommended for anyone interested in ancient history!

Wow, a nice large-print book with lots of photos. Written in an easy-to-follow narrative, the author makes his point about ancient, highly-advanced civilizations. The only drawback is that a few of the b&w photos aren't too clear, & I couldn't make out the details the author was referring to. Otherwise, a quick & enjoyable read.

Excellent book about a subject TPTB are trying to make sure the masses do not know. I will be reading more of Brien Foerster's books. Easy to read and understand and very interesting.

Evidence of ancient disaster involving a comet, asteroid, solar flares, galactic explosion, or all of the above? Whatever the cause, it would have resulted in earthquakes, floods, and catastrophic damage to any civilization existing about 12,000 years ago. The author shows plenty of evidence of such in this book. Past history needs to be rewritten in the light of such evidence.

Interesting, thought provoking, backed up by geography, facts. I also believe that for some reason, historians just do not want to re-write history books. Sitting on rigid rocks is easier, I guess.
